    • Or to the last post
    • Or to the first new post, if none, then to the last post

Download the zip file, uncompress it and upload the XML in AdminCP > Products & Hooks > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]. Configure the redirection settings by going to AdminCP > Settings > Options > Redirect Topic Title Settings.

I'm trying this on v5.2.3 and when it is set to First New/If None then Last and click on a topic on the home page it takes me to the first post in a thread. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

On homepage? The mod is only for the forum display page where it list down all the topics in that forum channel. For example, in vBulletin 5 Products and Extensions channel page here on this site.

Yep, doesn't work on the home page, works great on the pages below that.

        Thanks

I have tried to download the product but the files cannot be downloaded, it seems it no longer is attached to the first post. Could you be so kind to update it? Thanks

                Hi Glenn. Nice mod.
This is a global setting for entire forum? Or users can set yourself?
                Thanks

This is a global setting for all forums and not a user level setting.

jenda3 It's possible to make it a user-level setting. I could customize the mod for your needs. Please let me know if you are interested.

                      Hi,
in our site this mod seems working in forumdisplay but not for search modules (New Topics, Recent Posts). How is it possible?

musicoff, I just updated the mod to version 1.1 to support Search Result module. Check the first post.

As specified in the Note, it only works in Topic view. You can set the view in Search Module in the module configuration.

Yes. If you click the Pencil icon of the Search module, you can see the Edit Search Module dialog. At the bottom is the "View" option which is set to "Default" by default. Change it to "Topics".

It was "Topics" already. BTW, we solved editing hooks_title_newlast_post and now works even in Search Module.
                          Thanks!

What did you change? Is there a bug in the mod?

Our sysadmin added some jquery's selector (he knows what exactly) useful to find objects even in Search.

I just made a poll on my forum about this. The opinions are divided. So i am definitely interested in a user-level setting.
