lange I tested it and this mod works in vB 5.6.6. and PHP 8. This mod just uses pure JavaScript to convert audio file attachments into an audio player. It doesn't involve any PHP coding that requires PHP version compatibility. This is the same case with the Video Player mod.

No. You can't totally prevent the audio file (or video or any other web resource for that matter) from being downloaded by the user. You can make it harder but it would require custom coding.

Is it possible to disable the 'Save the MP3 URL as' or 'send the MP3 link by email' by using the right click (under FireFox by example) ?

Right now, the audio files are inside a directory above the web ...

Fixed by set the Forum Viewing Permissions/Can Download Non-Image Attachments permission to Yes for the Usergroup Guest Users.

Oh, I am getting an issue. Online, I see two players. Offline, only one (the last one in the last post). See the attached files.

A audio player + an image (uploaded or remote) in the same time/post are not showing for the guests (no problen for a connected member).

Any idea?

To change width, you can do this:

.audio-attach-player {
    width: 320px;
}

But to fully customize the colors and the controls, you need Javascript not just CSS.

This mod only converts existing file attachment (mp3 in this case) in a post into an audio player instead of displaying it as a link like in other non-image attachments.

Ok, here's how to center:

.audio-attach-player {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
.audio-attach-filename {
text-align: center;
}

Add the above custom CSS in css_additional template in AdminCP or in CSS Editor in Sitebuilder.
