    Please ignore Glenn,

I actually was using the default search module and not the Search module that rocks!

    Enjoy,

The mod works in the Today's Posts search result page on my site here. Can you try going to that page using your phone?

I think you missed my last message, Glenn. I had the default module and the Search module that rocks on the page. For some reason the default module doesn't display the category names in mobile view on my android.

I never noticed the default module has category names. It might be new. I'm currently using 5.3.2 beta.

          Enjoy,
          William

It looks like the upcoming vB 5.3.4 has implemented this mod. In that case, this mod is no longer needed starting that version.

FYI. With the release of 5.3.4 which adds the channel name in search results, this mod is no longer needed. If you have this mod and are running 5.3.4 and up, you need to disable or uninstall this mod in AdminCP > Products > Hooks & Manage Products. It is named as "Add Channel Name in Search Result by vBMods.rocks".

On a page where I added a search module (topic view) the channels are not shown.
But I had to deactivate your mod because on the "normal" searches, the channels were shown twice

I didn't realize they didn't add channel name in Search module Topic view. I'll fix the mod to not add channel name in Search Results so that you can use it in Search module Topic view.
