Thanks! I had the same problem and this seems to work.

A new issue was found by Snowhog where the autocomplete popups have the same body background.



I checked and most of the autocomplete popups for usernames, tags, etc across the site have the same issue. This is due to the default global style used by vB for autocomplete popups where it inherits the background of the body. It's supposed to use the autosuggest_background stylevar.

To resolve this issue, please add this custom CSS in css_additional template:

For self-hosted vB5 and vB6:

body > .ui-widget-content {
    background: {vb:stylevar autosuggest_background};
}

For vBCloud:
Find the autosuggest_background stylevar in the Style Manager. Copy the configured background color value and then replace the <color> placeholder below with the copied color.

body > .ui-widget-content {
    background: <color>;
}
