Update notifications in the browser tab

Is it somehow possible to enable live notifications in the browser tab? Like, how Facebook does it and like how it's described here https://webdesign.tutsplus.com/tutor...tab--cms-23458
That would be extremely handy, especially for our RP-forum where having to check back to the tab all the time would be a bit tedious.

Yeah I think that's possible. I have that idea for quite a while but have not a chance to work on it.

Is there a way to get notificated about it if you decide to do so?

Just watch out for it on this thread. If you are subscribed (which is on by default), then you will get notified either in the Message Center or email.
