Here's how to create a BB Code to embed TikTok videos in a forum post.

Go to AdminCP > Custom BB Codes > Add New BB Code and enter the following information:

Title: TikTok
BB Code Tag Name: tiktok
Replacement:

<blockquote class="tiktok-embed" data-video-id="{param}" style="max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px; margin: 1em 0;"><section></section></blockquote><script async src="https://www.tiktok.com/embed.js"></script>

Example: [tiktok]12345678901234567890[/tiktok] (this is the TikTok Video ID)
Use {option}: No
Button Image (Optional): (specify image path if you want a new button for this BBCode to appear in the editor)
Remove Tag If Empty: Yes
Rest of Options: No

To get the TikTok Video ID, click the Copy Link in the TikTok post, The copied link has this format:

https://www.tiktok.com/@user/video/<VideoID>

Copy just the Video ID part. The Video ID consists a bunch of some pattern of digits.

Hello Glenn. I am writing you because I am having trouble trying to get my TikTok mod to work correctly. Every time I try to do it in my post, I get a bordered screen saying video currently unavailable.

Can you help me fix this? Everything else is running great.

Are you using the correct Tiktok Video ID when using it in the BBCode tag? I need to see the post with the Tiktok BBCode in order for me to see what's wrong.

weiind, I haven't tested it in vB4 but you can try it. BBCode has not changed much in vB5/6 compared to vB4.

Don't bother. Its actually working. I forgot, the brower I used had adblocker which blocks social media too..
