d-m-y after upgrade from vbulletin 4 to 5

I upgraded vbulletin forum from vbulletin 4.2.5 to vbulletin 5.3.1 and all seems ok apart from that for every post/article etc it shows d-m-y instead of the actual date.

Even if I set format date in Date and Time Options in Admin Settings to m-d-y it still shows d-m-y on the site

Any idea what has caused that?

Ps if I create a new topic it shows the correct date/time for the post.

So it seems there is an issue with the upgrade e.g it is not adding the date/time of posts to the new installation?

I already tried updating various counters. It was to do with some old settings from vb4.
