    Problem with Profile URL

    Hi there,

I wonder if anyone else is having problems sometimes with the url link to member profiles.

Don´t know why but sometimes (I guess every 1 out of 10 profile url on a page) does not work because the main url is double.

    So there is for example:

    Code:
    https://www.example.comhttps://www.example.com/member/350-shining
    instead of

    Code:
    https://www.example.com/member/350-shining

The HTML-Code for an avatar looks like:

    Code:
    <a href="https://www.example.comhttps://www.example.com/member/53-xy" class="b-avatar b-avatar--m b-avatar--thread h-margin-bottom-l"><img src="./core/image.php?userid=53&amp;thumb=1&amp;dateline=1494169274" alt="xy" title="xy"></a>
    And the User-Name below

    Code:
    <a href="https://www.example.comhttps://www.example.com/member/53-xy"><span style="font-weight:bold; color: #325432;">xy</span></a>
I just can´t figure out why this happens sometimes.

Sometimes I am afraid that this is because of the mods from dragonbyte we are using
But our members love the shoutbox and statistic mod and so I "can´t" deactivate them.

Does the issue occur for all avatars across the site or just the avatars in the DBTech mods? You can temporarily deactivate their mods to quickly check and then activate it again.

Yes, for all sites (forum, blogs, groups). The both db mods are only used on home/first page.
And it happens without any logic. So its not the same members/profiles where this happens.

Maybe its because of this mod also: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...34#post2586434
I have problems deleting it. But its deactivated so it should not make any trouble?

And unfortunately I can´t remember if this problem existed already before I installed it. But I have this issue a long time now and didnt find it here or other vb5 forums.
First I thought it was a site loading issue.. because after refreshing a site the link was working. But this is just because the link of another profile is wrong then because it changes everytime you reload a page.

To totally delete a mod you have to also delete all the associated files uploaded to the server.

Thank you! And the mod developer also answered me (I had to edit a text file ).. now the product is gone

But.. the url issue still exists.

I haven't run into that issue and I use Dragonbyte's Info Panels, and BirdofPrey's auto link embedder.

              Update to this...

Didn´t have much time the past weeks because I am busy working on another project at the moment.

But last night I updated the forum to 5.3.1 and then took the chance to make some tests and now found out that this problem is caused by an addon we use to show the likes below a post.
              Like Summary: https://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=311951

I don´t know if it happens because this addon was also modified for us (now shows as many likes as we want) so maybe others don´t have any trouble with it.
Already informed the developer and I hope he will find a solution for this.
