    Header/logo link

    This isn't a modification request. It's a question regarding how to link back to the forum home page when a user clicks on the logo. This forum logo links back to vbmods.rocks when you click on it, but on my forum when you click the logo you're taken to the image. I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place and if I'm even allowed to ask this here but if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

    Did you modify the "header" template and change the logo URL?

      I did look in there, several times, but there's a lot of text in there and I wasn't sure what I was looking for. I'm very wary of fncking up my board, as I've done that a lot with past forums by fiddling around with things I don't quite understand.

        In header template search for the following around line 306

        PHP Code:
        <a href="{vb:raw baseurl}/"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" data-orig-src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:phrase logo}" title="{vb:phrase powered_by_vbulletin_title}" /></a

        Change {vb:raw baseurl}/ to your desired url.

          You don't actually need to edit the url in the header template if you want the logo to link to the homepage which the default header template does.

              The default code for the logo in the header is actually:

              Code:
              <div class="site-logo header-edit-box">
                  <a href="[COLOR=#FF0000]<vb:if condition="$vboptions['titleimageurl']">[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000FF]{vb:raw vboptions.titleimageurl}[/COLOR][COLOR=#FF0000]<vb:else />[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000FF]{vb:raw baseurl}[/COLOR][COLOR=#FF0000]/</vb:if>[/COLOR]"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" data-orig-src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:phrase logo}" title="{vb:phrase powered_by_vbulletin_title}" /></a>
               </div>
              The link URL has a condition that checks if $vboptions['titleimageurl'] option is set, then it uses that, otherwise it uses the baseurl option which points to the homepage.

              You don't have to change anything in that template. Maybe you've set titleimageurl option somewhere in AdminCP? I don't know what and where that option is.

                I have no idea what I've done to be honest with you. I've checked all edited stylevars and gone over my header template a million times. I think this might be a lost cause for me.

                      Ah man! I'm an idiot. I'd changed this to my logo image. Why? I have no idea.

                      THANK YOU!
