    Trying to modify the header

    I have found the style variable to change the header graphic and the one to change the page back ground, but I can't find where to change the two boxes on each side of the header.
    Where are the style variables for those two sides.Page Background
    Thanks for any help

    Set the topbg_header_mainnav_subnav_background stylevar to transparent. It will look like this:

    You may want to also set the header background (header_background) to transparent to let the page background be seen through the header like this:

    Click image for larger version

      I'm not familiar with vb 6. Do you have this editing capability in your version? Click image for larger version

        Yes, I think the themes in version 6 are evidently very much like version 5. I went from 4 to 6 so I can't be positive but there are lot of vB5 remnants.

        The style variables all go in through the AdminCP. Go to Syles and then choose the style you wish to edit and click the dropdown box where is says Chose Action and find Style Variable Editor.

          If I understood you correctly, that's not actually boxes. That's part of the body background image. Do you want to widen the page content to 90% - 100%?

            Ok I checked again and the header in vB6 has changed from vB5. Let me check further. It would be easier for me if I could see the site and inspect the HTML.

              This is my header custom CSS:
              #header {
              color: #FFFFFF;
              width: 100%;
              min-width: 320px;
              max-width: 1200px;
              margin: auto;
              height: 104px;
              display: table;
              clear: both;
              table-layout: fixed;

              #header .toolbar {
              display: table-cell;
              vertical-align: middle;
              width: 252px;
              padding-right: 10px;
              color: #FFFFFF;
              background: #FFFFFF;
              }
              #header .site-logo {
              padding: 22px 10px 26px 10px;
              background: #ffffff;
              position: relative;
              text-align: left;

                The site is tst.forums.ncrs.org

                I changed the body background and those two boxes kept the old background.Body backgroundAs you can see the two areas beside the header retained the previous Winter Background. You would think the header background would include that area, or at least the page background color or image.
