I'm not 100% certain but I think that push notifications are only possible if you buy into the vBulletin mobile app.
I am a member of other forums (I don't know the platforms used) that provide push notifications without the need to use a proprietary app - for example, the notification appears on my (Android) phone notifications list.
Is there any way of enabling similar functionality with vB5?
