A small password annoyance

G'day all, please just ignore this if it is irrelevant.

I recently change my Admin password and now vB (5.4.1) will not remember my new password and still presents the old one. So I get a dire warning about "five strikes and you are out" and have to enter my new password every time I login. How can I explain to vB that it is wrong and kindly accept my new password?

Did you check the remember me box? try clearing your cache

G'day Mitch. Yes click it every time I am told "four more tries". Perhaps should mention that I get the same result with Firefox and Chrome.

Ok in firefox it should ask if you want to update the password if not go to tools options privacy & security saved logins search here for your site the just delete this you should also do the same for any other browser you are using
