Side effect in postbit background color

I stumbled into this by accident i changed the postbit background from a single color to a gradient and it also changed the way the upcoming events looked as seen in the pic below

I am not saying this is a bad thing as it makes the event stick out but i do think that the event background should have its own stylevar i have created a jira to highlight this
