Quote box is not appearing in posts

I've recently installed the latest version of vBulletin. To this point all I've done is change colors on the board. I have not installed any mods. When quoting a users post, the quote box is not appearing in the post. It shows in the preview window prior to submitting, but not in the final post. Any suggestions where to look for a fix?

Check if bbcode_quote template in Style Manager in AdminCP exists. It might be missing for some reason.

I do not see bbcode_quote. The following codes are present.

bbcode_code_background
bbcode_code_border
bbcode_code_fontsize
bbcode_code_line_height
bbcode_quote_background

You seem to be looking in the stylevars not templates.

Yep. Your right. I found it in templates where it should be. Now what?

Is it modified? You can tell if template name is red. If yes, revert it. Backup first before reverting. If no, then check if all bbcodes and not just quotes are not working? This might be due to bbcode permissions in the channel.

It’s definitely not modified. The only thing that has happened is I rebuilt all my channels. As far as I can tell everything is working but quotes.

After contacting vBulletin support my issue has been resolved. It turns out that I had censored the word ***, which was apparently breaking my site. I put {} around the word and that corrected the issue. Weird!
