Point and/or "Play" Cash system

Is this possible? My forum would be entirely based on this. Would display in their profile on the left right by post count, user name, etc. You can name it whatever you want "Points", "Cash", etc. You can select how to earn. Post Count perhaps = 1 point. Referral = 50 points. Administrator can also reward points manually.

Please let me know if such a thing is possible for vb5. Otherwise I'm debating looking at other software. Thank you!!
