    Replacement for AME

It seems amazing to me that vb doesn't seem to have an automatic video embed functionality. There was a mod for this for VB3 and 4 called AME. I'm not finding one for 5 yet though.

I wonder how difficult this would be to do on vb5. Based on its structure, it might actually be easier than it was in past versions.

Might be something to investigate at some point.

    I believe you're looking for this: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=288954

I use it and it works great with Vb 5.2.6.

    Enjoy,
    William

I'll be giving this a try once I figure out why my regular URL bbcodes stopped working. Got a thread about that on vb.com.

Just tested it... works great for videos... but I had to deactivate it for URL, because it also rewrote all links within attached images from URL and they were not shown anymore.

And now I had to delete it.. because setting "Auto Parse ALL URLs" to "No" also disabled the video function... so its unfortunately useless for me

            Hm... not yet.

            There is written:
            Released: 11 Oct 2012 Last Update: 30 Jun 2015
            Not Supported
So I thought there won´t be any work on it or updates anymore...

            But I can try
