Allowing to change *only* the prefix

    Glenn,

as I explained in my email, I need the possibility that my users can edit (change, actually) the prefix of their threads in pre-determinated forums, e. g. Sales Corner, from "For Sale" to "Sold"

The fact is that they cannot edit anything in their posts there in order to preserve the info they put and to prevent they can change features, even prices, while a sale is going on or done.

The consequence is that I as admin have to change manually all and every sales ad when it is sold or traded. You know: "edit", "go advanced", change prefix and "save" (for not saying deleting the user's follow-up with "sold" to warn me... and "upping" the ad itself)

Anyone else in this need on vB4.2.5?

    Thanks

      Great!

I was looking for something like that for ages.
      Downloaded, installation pending.

      Thank you Glenn

I'll come back to tell if it worked as expected (by me at least)

As promised, here I come again to say a BIG thank you.
It was *exactly* what I needed: changing prefix to SOLD while preventing users from editing their own ads.

        Again, thank you

Following-up, is it possible to adapt this feature to vBulletin 5?

          TIA
