vbmods puts the functionality back into vB5 m
I kind of gave up on vb5 with so many awesome/amazing features left out and seemingly no interest in ever getting them back by the developers. Those little things that make a forum a community and yeah some added mods to really round everything out. Didn't seem like any of it was going to happen, but then I found glennrocksvb and wow, just wow!
The amazing mods here are adding back the functionality and tweaks that change the forum from cookie cutter to Rockstar which makes sense. Things like autolinking might seem trivial to some people but I have a store with hundreds of products. When my clients speak about those products, its nice to have a link they can click to take them to buy it. If anything it saves so much time.
I'm so enamored with all the mods he offers, and many for free at that, I went and bought nearly every paid mod offered. There's a couple that might not give me very much use, but the take-away is knowing I'm supporting someone who is doing amazing work.
